My Final Post

When I first began writing this blog, it was about political strife across Africa, but as I wrote my first post, I realized that I couldn't give the proper in-depth detail that every nation deserved. I would fall into the trap of treating Africa as if it were one nation facing the same problem. Since it was the Ogoni people of Nigeria that got me interested in doing this module and doing water and politics, I thought it appropriate to stick to Nigeria and cover this one nation in-depth. Despite my blog becoming quite narrow, focusing only on Nigeria, the whole process turned out much better for it. I learnt a valuable lesson that doing a deep dive into one nation is much better than doing a shallow skim over an entire continent.
